I recently stumbled upon a website that lists 1000 awesome things. The list ranges from #942 - someone flashing their high beams at you when the fuzz is up ahead to #65 - Dads to #15 - Being a regular somewhere.
My life has recently taken a few weird turns and there are big things in my life that I really can't control, so while the eggheads say to not sweat the small stuff, I am going to try to be thankful for the little things.
Over the next few weeks, I'm going to share with you 100 things, in no particular order, that I think are awesome. Hopefully it will inspire someone to be thankful for the little things when the big things get out of hand.
People fall into two categories of peep eaters. They either like them fresh out of the package, all smooshy and gooey or they like them as I refer to them, "aged."
I prefer them aged, with a week being perfect. Then, you pull its little tail off then its beak and then you pop the rest of it in your mouth. And I am talking about the little peeps not bunnies or anything else.
When I was little, the Easter bunny not only came to my house, but he also stopped by my grandma's house. The bunny dropped a basket by my grandma's for me a week or so early, and thus aged peeps. It was in that basket that I first tasted the sugary marshmallow treat.
Just one more thing that made visits to grandma's house special.
